There are several benefits of stretching and some of them are 1. physical fitness gets enhanced, 2. mental and physical relaxation gets increased, 3. muscular soreness gets reduced and 4 muscular tension also gets reduced.

that's a bullshit.
Stretching, if it is performed as you often see at tv, will reduce strength.
Though, if it is made moderately, it can adjust the back bones as well as it will stretch the fascia properly, so that the muscles will grow.

I actual feel less strong after stretching a muscle group, perhaps the stretching action depeletes muscles of something ? ( blood flow etc )

Stretching activates the muscles and is extremely good for your body. But I wonder how beneficial is it to show the results?
